The Belkin Lite F8N225ea Notebook Bag can fit in laptops of sizes up to 15.6″ and does keep the laptop bag from damage when it is not in use and the Belkin did not disappoint at all.  It gives you a pretty nice snug and does not leave that much of a space so as for your laptop to slide around inside and it features a high level of padding on the bottom and sides. The front pocket is generously sized to store all your laptop accessories in it including the USB mouse, main adapter and other cables. This said it does not have a lot of give, but stronger than we imagined. You can only open the zip across the top and just about 3” down the side and therefore there is no way that your laptop falls out when you unzip it. It is a double zip which helps you zip the notebook bag up from both ends and it looks to be pretty strong and sturdy with high quality rubber coated pullers that are made of metal. The bag also features a zipped pocket on one side which is generous enough for storing A4 sized documents or any charger pack, but disappointingly there is not any inside pockets.

Carrying Strap:

The laptop bag is built with two strong handles that feature a relatively nice, comfy rubberised material around, and you will have  no problem holding them for sure. There is a shoulder strap that is securely held on by tough plastic and not through any metal fixings. And this means it cannot take too much of heavy abuse over use. Also it is designed without any short of padding and is built short of buckle for adjusting the length. However, we have no idea why on earth there is a fixed trolley strap designed with a Velcro patch right on the middle of it as it does seem to have no real purpose behind it.

The Belkin F8N225ea Notebook Bag is covered under a lifetime warranty by the manufacturer against manufacturing faults and defects, starting from  the date of purchase.

Verdict:

A fairly basic bag for use at home or out in public, the Belkin Notebook Bag is more than sufficient for keeping your laptop secure and clean. This little bag does what it says on the box. If you do not throw your notebook around too much and simply need a reasonable way of carrying it around, the Belkin F8N225ea is what all you need. However, if you like to carry your laptop everyday to college or work, we are afraid that you may have to go for something a bit robust and more industrial.
